MICHAEL BROWN

Michael Brown has been speaking, mentoring and leading in campus ministry for the past 18 years – the first four years at the University of Kansas and the past 14 years at Bowling Green State University.  He is presently the Faculty Advisor of [Cru]. 

Michael’s passions include teaching, writing, mentoring, rigorous exercise, presidential politics, grillin’ out, peanut butter and power naps. 

As a Lambda Chi Alpha alumna, Michael spends much of his time speaking in fraternities, as well as mentoring, counseling and challenging young men across campus.  He also travels regionally and nationally, sharing his insights on leadership, relationships, innovative campus ministry and spirituality with university students, faculty and staff.  

Michael and his wife, Teresa, just celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary and reside in Bowling Green with their four children: Lauren, Justin, Logan and Ethan.  They were selected as the 2008 Bowling Green Family of the Year.

AMY SEIFFERT

Amy Seiffert is a wife, mom and minister to college students on campus at BGSU. She has been married to her husband, Rob for 7 years and has one adorable son, Robby.  She has been writing, speaking and mentoring Greek women in the campus community for 8 years and enjoys the multiple balls she continues to juggle as her life changes each season.

As an Alpha Phi alumni, Amy loves to build relationships with sorority women who are at a crossroads in their lives as they walk through college. She enjoys leading spiritual discussions and giving them an opportunity to explore God from a Biblical perspective.

Amy loves learning and is slowly continuing her education at Regent Theological Seminary. She enjoys artful time painting, working with fabrics and creating. Having grown up in the Toledo, Ohio area she also enjoyed playing Barbie Dolls with Katie Holmes in elementary school and would like you all to know that.
